Model Spotlight: Plagueborn Harvester — The Hive's Biological Reaper
Share
The VoidHive does not waste. Every fallen enemy, every shattered world, every consumed ecosystem is raw material — and the Plagueborn Harvester is the instrument of that consumption.
The Sculpt
The Plagueborn Harvester is a lean, relentless bipedal predator. Its silhouette is unmistakable — elongated limbs built for speed, a hunched torso bristling with bio-weapon growths, and a head that is pure predatory intent. Every surface detail tells a story of engineered lethality: pustule clusters, exposed sinew, and chitinous plating that has grown over and through the creature's own musculature.
Cast in premium high-detail grey resin, the Harvester is available in three sizes to suit your collection or gaming table.
Painting Approach
The Plagueborn Harvester rewards a contrast-heavy approach. Start with a zenithal prime (black base, grey mist from above), then hit the chitin plates with a deep purple or sickly green contrast paint. The exposed flesh areas respond beautifully to a warm flesh tone washed heavily with Druchii Violet or Plaguebearer Flesh. Finish with stippled highlights on the chitin edges and a gloss varnish on the pustule clusters for that wet, infected look.
On the Table
As a centrepiece or as part of a swarm, the Plagueborn Harvester commands attention. Its dynamic pose reads clearly at gaming distance while rewarding close inspection for display purposes — exactly what a competition entry demands.
