About
Born from the hobby. Drawn to the extraordinary.
VoidHive Forge grew from founder Andrew’s roots in the miniature hobby and a fascination with imagined worlds. It is about bringing something unusual to the painting desk: miniatures with character, atmosphere, and room for your own imagination.
At its heart is the pleasure of making a miniature your own. An unpainted model is a starting point. Your colours, textures, basing, and creativity decide what it becomes.
Our beginnings in the hive
Our original alien bioform designs explore the stranger side of science fiction, where organic forms meet body horror. Strange anatomy and otherworldly silhouettes suggest creatures shaped by environments far removed from our own.
We want each bioform to feel like part of a larger world, with a story waiting beneath its surface. Whether you enjoy painting, collecting, or building a scene around a creature, the invitation is the same: look closer and make that world yours.
Beyond the hive
Alien worlds are our beginnings, not our boundaries. We are planning to expand into other realms with different fantasy miniatures, opening up new possibilities for the forge and the hobbyists who join us.
These ideas are still in the planning stages, rather than available ranges. As we explore new directions, the aim remains the same: distinctive miniatures that spark a paint scheme, suggest a story, or inspire your next hobby project.
From our forge to your painting desk
Our current physical miniatures are made to order using water-based UV resin and supplied unpainted. These are models to hold, paint, and bring to life, not digital STL files.
From the first idea for a colour scheme to the final detail on a display base, your part in the process gives each miniature its own identity.
Miniature production commissions
Alongside our own range, we welcome enquiries about commissioned miniature production. If you have a project you would like us to produce, get in touch to discuss what you have in mind. We can talk through the requirements and establish what is possible before agreeing the work.
Welcome to the forge
VoidHive Forge is for painters, collectors, and hobbyists drawn to the unusual, whether that means an alien nightmare or the promise of a different realm.
From one hobbyist to another, welcome to the hive. There are more worlds ahead.
