The Void Predator Brood — Hunters of the Outer Dark

Before the siege-forms lumber forward and before the psychic shriek of the Cortex Collective tears through enemy lines, something else arrives first. Faster. Quieter. Deadlier.

The Void Predator Brood are the advance hunters of the VoidHive — a caste of bipedal bioforms engineered for rapid assault, target isolation, and the kind of close-quarters violence that leaves nothing standing. Where other hive organisms are built for attrition, the Predator Brood is built for the decisive moment.

Anatomy of a Hunter

Each Void Predator is a study in biological efficiency. Layered chitin armour plates protect the vital organs while leaving the limbs free for explosive movement. The scythe-limbs — primary weapons of the caste — are capable of penetrating vehicle armour at close range, yet precise enough to perform surgical strikes on individual targets.

The musculature is dense and coiled, built for short-range bursts of terrifying speed rather than sustained pursuit. Prey that runs rarely gets far.

Tactical Role

In VoidHive swarm doctrine, Predator Broods are deployed in the gap between the psychic vanguard and the main assault wave. Their role is disruption — breaking enemy formations, eliminating command units, and creating the chaos that the heavier bioforms then exploit.

On the tabletop, they function beautifully as elite shock troops, flanking units, or named character models with individual lore and markings.

The Range

The Void Predator Brood is available in four sizes from 120mm to 200mm, cast in premium grey resin with scenic rubble bases. Each sculpt captures a different moment in the hunt — the coiled readiness, the mid-strike lunge, the aftermath of the kill.

These are models that tell a story before a single brushstroke is applied.
