The Rune Maw Devourer is the VoidHive's most ancient and terrifying predator-form — a towering, multi-limbed abomination whose rune-etched cranium speaks of something older than the Hive itself. Where other bioforms are engineered, the Devourer feels discovered. As if the Hive found something vast and hungry in the void, and simply gave it purpose.

Its maw is the last thing most species ever see. Wide, fanged, and framed by writhing tendrils, it opens not to feed — but to consume. Biomass, intelligence, memory. The Devourer takes everything.

The Sculpt

The Rune Maw Devourer is built around mass and menace. Six articulated limbs anchor a hunched, powerful torso that radiates biological authority. The cranial dome is covered in deeply etched rune-like markings — bio-sigils that glow faintly in painted form and reward every hour of detail work. Multiple bio-weapon spines erupt from the shoulders and back, each one a focal point for OSL or contrast work.

The face is the centrepiece: a wide, gaping maw flanked by curved fangs and framed by a secondary jaw structure, with deep-set eyes that suggest intelligence behind the hunger. This is not a mindless beast. It knows exactly what it's doing.
